We have used the same shop in Minneapolis for all of our car care needs. Last week we were at the shop in Minneapolis and they did an oil change and also a transmission service. A transmission service is just as important to your car as an oil change which I learned from the shop in Minneapolis. What a transmission service does is keep the fluid fresh and clean and helps in keeping your transmission healthy for a longer period of time, just as an oil change does is how the Minneapolis shop explained. The Minneapolis shop that handles our car care also said the transmission service is only needed about once a year as opposed to an oil change that is needed about every 3 months.
